Preparing for your Appointment

Dear Client,

Welcome back to Directors Hair!

Due to Covid-19 we have had to make some temporary changes within the salon. Please read through the following before your visit.

  • Please contact the salon before your appointment if you or anyone in your household are unwell.

  • We ask you to please wear a mask throughout your appointment to help protect the staff.

  • We have a restricted waiting area so please arrive promptly at the time of your appointment., with limited baggage.

  • Please wait outside the salon until a member of staff invites you in.

  • We will provide water and disposable cups but no hot beverages. Please do bring your own refreshments.

  • There will be no magazines available so please do bring reading material if required.

  • The toilets will be available for use. Sanitiser will be provided.

  • The Stylists are under extra pressure to keep to time and Sanitise after your visit, so please keep talking to a minimum!

  • Please respect the social distancing measures put in place.

  • Payment by Card only where possible.

OUR COMMITMENT
1. OUR SALON 
  • We have undertaken a thorough review of our salon and the services we offer.
     

  • We have rearranged our waiting, reception and workplace areas to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
     

  • All surfaces throughout the salon will be cleaned regularly and wiped with the appropriate cleaning product between each appointment.
     

  • All items of equipment will be cleaned before and after every client.  This includes all scissors, brushes, combs, bowls styling aids and hairdryer.
     

  • We will ensure adequate ventilation throughout the salon with doors open where possible. 

2. OUR TEAM
  • We have conducted training to ensure all team members care for our clients in a safe, hygienic and professional manner. 
     

  • Staff have been trained to adapt each service to uphold best practice,  including hygiene and safety.
     

  • We have agreed social distancing for our team in communal staff areas.
     

  • Staff are briefed to uphold safe standards while dealing with responsibilities at reception.

3. OUR SERVICES 
  • Our Staff will wear gloves and face shields/visors during services and will wash their hands between each service.
     

  • Face masks are available where necessary.

4. GUEST ARRIVAL & RECEPTION 
  • We will greet you warmly but without handshake or personal contact.
     

  • We will stagger client arrival times to minimise close contact. 
     

  • We will clean the reception area regularly.
     

  • Where possible we will escort you straight to your stylist's workplace to avoid congestion in reception.
     

  • We ask that you pay using card where possible.
     

5. WE ASK YOU, OUR CUSTOMERS 
  • To arrive at the time of your appointment to maximize social distancing.
     

  • To wash your hands and/or use hand sanitiser on arrival, as directed by our team, and after your service.
     

  • To wear Face-masks during your time in the salon (available to purchase from reception).
     

  • To contact us and re-arrange your appointment if you have a temperature, or are feeling unwell or if any person in your household has the same or is self-isolating.
     

● PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE SALON IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU LIVE WITH IS SELF-ISOLATING OR IS DISPLAYING SYMPTOMS KNOWN TO BE CONSISTENT WITH COVID-19
